"How are you?" such a simple, easy question that people use day in, day out; however, not here in Asia. My friend once asked me "Why do people always asking me how are you in USA? I don't even know them! And what should I reply?" Well... to be honest, I don't know! But I think.... No matter it's just a polite, meaningless phrase or a thoughtful greeting; it doesn't really matter what's the intention behind. It's a really sweet, easy skill to spread love. It's either a nice way to say hello, or in some cases it can initiate a wonderful conversation.
Do you have some friends that you don't get to see as often as you want for whatever reasons? I believe everyone does, and I do too! Here are some words I wanna share to those friends I haven't met for quite some time: No matter what happened between us, either we got stuck with our own personal life, or we are now on different paths, or you don't take it as a friendship anymore..... or what so ever. I just wanna say that I still care, and I always wish you the best! And last but not least, I would like to ask you personally, "How are you?"
